All of our coaches are USAV registered and background-checked, which means they understand the sport of volleyball as well as how to safely train young athletes. Learn more by viewing our bios below.
Lisa Butcher
Director, Coach
Lisa has been coaching for 27 years in the Bloomington community. She is a certified IHSAA referee and USAV club director, and she earned her AOC Head Coach Certification at the Level 1 distinction. Her coaching philosophy is to develop players to be mentally tough by practicing the same way they compete.
Tammy Pardue
Assistant Director, Coach
Tammy has coached for more than 26 seasons at different age levels in the southern Indiana area. She believes in creating a supportive environment for young players to improve their skills and make friendships that last a lifetime. She is currently head coach at Tri-North Middle School.
Beth May
Spiritwear Coordinator
Beth has been the coached at varies schools, as well Pantera for several years. She also manages our uniforms and gear. Her passion for volleyball shines when she shows our youngest players how to love the game and compete.
Kara Cheslock
Asst. Coach
Kara has coached middle schoolers in Bloomington for several seasons. With a background in wrestling as well as softball, Kara knows that a well-rounded athlete is a strong athlete. She currently coaches and teaches at Batchelor Middle School.
14U Coach Kara Parker - Kara played high school and club volleyball. She coached volleyball at BHSS and Pantera. Kara is a teacher at BHSS
14U Coach Abby Cunningham — Abby played volleyball in College, High School and club volleyball in Illinois. Abby has coached swimming at the club level and wants to share her knowledge of volleyball.
14U Coach Asst.Madison Barnhart - Madison started played volleyball from the 8th grade to the 12th grade at Madison-Grant High School. She played her club volleyball at Munciana. She was on the rowing team at IU and played on the intramural team at IU as well. She has coached at Rev Volleyball club.
13U Coach Darci Vine - Darci is currently the 8th grade coach at Eastern Middle School. She played at Eastern High School and Club Volleyball.
13U Coaches: Andria Hawkins - Andria played high school volleyball at BHSS as a setter and hitter, coached at Tri-North Middle School for 15 years. Andria is an Elementary teacher.
13U Coach Asst. Peyton Melchi: Peyton played volleyball in middle school, high school and club volleyball. She is currently a freshman at IU.
12U Coach Sammy Camporez Stuebe: Sammy played volleyball at multiple levels in Brazil. Sammy most recently coached volleyball at the YMCA.
12U Coach Asst. Paige Henderson - Paige played middle and high school volleyball. She has coached club volleyball at Tier Ten for the last few seasons.
Fundraising Coordinator: Mary Mortara - Mary coached for years with Girls Inc as well as 7th grade at Tri-North. Mary loves to teach fundamentals and having fun while playing hard.
